Technical Requirements for
Online A-Level Maths Learning with Me:
To ensure a smooth, interactive, and highly effective online A-Level Maths learning experience with me, a few simple technical setups are recommended:
Essential: A Digital Writing Device.
To fully participate and benefit from my interactive online whiteboard for A-Level Maths, a digital writing device is mandatory. This allows you to write out your working and solutions in real-time, just as you would on paper.
This could be: An Apple Pencil with an iPad, a graphics tablet (like a Wacom Intuos or similar) connected to your computer, or any other tablet with stylus/writing capability that allows you to draw or write digitally.
This ensures I can see your thought process instantly and provide immediate, targeted feedback during online A-Level Maths lessons.
Screen Setup: One Screen (Ideally Dual Screens or Devices).
One screen / computer / laptop / tablet will be good enough to see my working out and show yours ...
But for the best possible online A-Level Maths learning environment, I highly recommend using two screens or two devices. This allows you to:
View my shared screen (with explanations and examples) on one display.
Work on the online whiteboard (writing your solutions) on the other.
This can be achieved by using two monitors with your computer, or by having a laptop/desktop computer alongside a tablet with writing capabilities. While not strictly mandatory, this setup significantly enhances your A-Level Maths learning experience.
Internet and Computer Specifications:
You'll need a stable internet connection to participate in live online A-Level Maths sessions.
There are no specific minimum internet speed or computer/tablet requirements beyond being able to run standard video conferencing software and a web browser. A reliable device that allows for clear audio and video will ensure you get the most out of each A-Level Maths lesson.
